BJ Christenson recently spoke with TriHive about his 11th place finish at the Ford Ironman USA triathlon in Lake Placid, New York on Saturday July 20, 2008.  Christenson finished in 09:23:35, clocking the fastest overall run split of the day (2hr 56min 13sec).

Heath Thurston won the annual Burley Lions Club Spudman Triathlon, held on July 26, 2008. Thurston won the event in 1:46:44, holding off runner up, BJ Christenson by less then 30 seconds.  Devan Tandy rounded out the men’s podium

In the women’s race, Johanna Nielson won convincingly in a time of 2:04:02, nearly three minutes faster then runner-up, Keena Schaerrer.  Heather Penrod completed the women’s podium.
